Tower of London, and churches

We were very tempted to check out Tower of London after hearing about the 2-for-1 deals at Daysoutguide London. After we get in, we joined a Yeoman Warder tour near the main entrance. Our guide (aka the beef eater) showed us around the castles, and we learned a lot about the towers’ history.

After the tour, we checked out the tower that houses the impressive crown jewels. Unfortunately, no photographs was allowed inside.

We also went inside the other towers and walk along the castle wall, where we got a good view of the Tower Bridge.

We spent almost three hours visiting the towers. It was a very unique British experience and well worth its 2-for-1 price!

Since we still had some time before our ferry to Holland, we headed to St Paul’s Cathedral and Westminster Abbey to take a closer look.at the architecture

One last look at Big Ben before we head to Amsterdam!

It was a perfect end to our two-day stay in London. Tomorrow, we will head to Keukenhof, the biggest tulip garden in the world.

This is one of the posts for our two-day stay in Europe, for other posts, please see:
